Hi guys,

This is my first post on this forum. I must confess that I've been pretty amazed by what I saw here so it took me a long time to decide myself.
Anyway, here is my latest picture. It's called On Brighter Wings.
The image is very high resolution so screen display does not really bring justice to it. You can download a detail shot and a 1500 pix version (sorry for the watermark) from my web site.

All has been modeled and rendered in Maya, except for the hair, hand painted in Photoshop. And now, to the picture :

Without the girl I would have used it for my desktop, great background.

But I guess it's up to you what gets you off m8.

Leaving the fifties, is one of my all time favorite CG works!

To clarify my last post couldn't you model the girl a bit more realistic. Her 'attributes' and proportions really ruin it for me.

Nice Realy nice. But the girl doesn't fit in the landscape. This girl rocks too much. :p

Yeah I guess I understand what you mean. Indeed I could change her 'attributes' but I like that kind of slightly provocative, or let's say seductive character against a more neutral background.
From the beginning, I didn't mean her to be realistic. Even her face, if you look at the detail shot (from the website), has more an 'illustration' look.
But I guess I'll wait for more comments and if it really bothers too much people, I'll revise her.
