I would go with the cheaper CPU configuration.

You could get a comparable HP notebook for $1500. :)

The 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo/mobile model would save a good bit of cash.

m90 should be good.

just fyi, there are 2 2.4 ghz core 2 duo's the e6600 and the t7700. t7700 is the laptop processor has a lower fsb and wont run as fast as the e6600 but has better batterylife.
e6600 should run faster but it has a lower heat spec and uses more power. most manufacturers will use ie sony hp dell apple, will use the t-series for their laptops because of this. If youre taking it around alot I would go with the t7500 or t7700 and youll probably save some money too. otherwise the e6600 will run faster, though I would question its use in laptops because of its lower heat spec than the t-series processors.

Maximum PC just reviewed the C90S and gave it a 6/10.

Basically they said that there are too many compromises with thsi laptop - to the point that you might as well just get a desktop instead. Like it's performance numbers were pretty decent, but it's battery life is horrible and they wrote that it is quite loud. Basically if you are getting this to use as a laptop, then don't. If you are getting this as a desktop replacement, then just get another regular desktop.

Amazing info what i've been waiting for THNX ! guys. The laptop has a 6 cell battery indeed, not even a 9 cell for that price...I will be using it as a "laptop" and not a desktop..

Szos : thnx for the help man, about the reviews of Maximum PC. Which laptops did they recommend ?

thnx
