I have a Nurbs cilinder and a planar surface for cap (loft between curve of cilinder scaled). I want create a fillet surface between the cilinder and the plane but the fillet don't work. The result is a ball...

the result is a ball because the ball is some sort of "icon" for when the fillet isn't operating correctly.

are the cylinder and the plane intersecting ? fillet doesn't work on separate surfaces.

No, the planar surface are the result of lofting between a curve extracted from surface and second curve scaled. In Maya I can choose between round and fillet tool. In XSI for obtaine a filleting surface

maya's fillet serves a slightly different purpose and is more versatile then XSI's.
Something doing exactly the same thing (joining 2 distant derivated curves) is not present in XSI, but you can do it with extractions and a loft tho, and it's a fairly simple tool to script away if you plan on using it often.

I have created a nurbs cilinder.I have trim it with a circle>Extract from surface>I obtaine a curve>scale it>duplicate>loft between two curve and obtaine a second nurbs cilinder. Now I want bend the cilinder, but bend tool don't work on trim...help

trims are projected curves, obviously enough it won't bend unless the projected trimming curve gets bent as well (and even then it wouldn't be what you expected it to be).
