i've got a problem when using mia_material with textured transparency (using the cutout opacity). i've attached a rough example of this, basically around the edges of the man in both renders you can see the problem, it looks like crap.
it happens when either a mia or maya shader is in the background. its the standard type of setup i would use for architectural work with an mia_physicalsun. i tried turning off the physicalsun's soft shadows and the problem is still there.
ass soon as i change the man's shader to a maya lambert it fixes the problem, so its got to be a problem with the mia_shader on the man, but i have no clue what it could be...? any help would be cool :)
