I want to put modeler in monitor 1 and layout in monitor 2, but when i exit, layout and modeler returns to the default position (monitor 1) How can i arrange this? My settings in nvidia panel is each monitor having their own independent resolution. Thanks.

in the nview panel I think there is a setting for 'open at last position'.
If you need to you can also create custom settings for seperate programs. For instance, I have 3 monitors and use 2 for Layout and 1 for Modeler. I also have a custom set for Photoshop that spans 2 monitors and has palets etc on the 3rd.

If you're on a Mac, there's no solution.
Um, kinda obvious solution is use a PC. :D
I do use macs too btw. :) ..funny thing is I remember back when multi monitor setup was a mac superior area.
I think Windows basically copied the Apple system 7 monitor setup control panel and stuck it into windows 98.

The fault isn't the Mac, it's LW. I have no trouble with multiple monitor app arrangements with other apps in OSX, only LW.
