Hey Ansi,

Congratz to youre new demoreel. I wish you all the best. Go and show the world what kind of magic lies in between VFX. Thank you very much for everything and who knows... maybe one time we will sit in a departement full of nerds, beer, salad, and a good deal of laughing, again. ;)

Cheers my friend

You have great contents in the reel but about the motion or animation, I am sorry to say that, it is lack of dynamic because the motions is too slow, is there any problem about the frame rate or you slow them down?

About the Mermaid scene, I rather would like to see how you do the mermaid tail than showing the wireframes of the little fish..you know the mermaid is the main subject.

The horse riding, fish catching scene, I don't like the way of presentation. the clips are too short and cut scenes are too frequent, and it is too slow about the motion. And also, the colorful fishes composited with a sepia clip. I don't know what to say. And again, the modeling and texturing of the fish is not the main course that I am interested to see.

The chinese hut or building: I know you would like to show motions by using the 3D strokes, however, the camera motion compensated them. and the later shot of the hut structure movement.. again, the motions are too slooow (and the motion speed is regular, linear one). Do you think is it better with a faster motion with motion blur enabled?

Liquid dress: You show simulation process, but the final product is just a still image... may be it is a resources problem, is it more impressive if you show a woman walking when she wearing the liquid dress?

Masquerade: I hate flash! you know what I mean, really uncomfortable.

Sehr coole Sache.

Gute Arbeit insgesamt.

About the Mermaid scene, I rather would like to see how you do the mermaid tail than showing the wireframes of the little fish..you know the mermaid is the main subject.

Ever thought that he probably didn´t create the mermaid? ;) I guess he would have taken that route if he did.
