Hi everyone,

I am currently working on a character animation project for a professor who teaches human robot interaction. He is willing to pay $300 for a Maya character that has body and ficial already rigged and ready for animation.

Where can I buy high res Maya "rigged" character? I tried the TurboSquid, but it is very hard to find a rigged character for Maya there. I will be appreciated if you could direct me to a web site so we can buy the 3D Maya character. If you would like to sell your character to us, then please contact us and send us your still pictures and .mov & .avi files.

Appreciated for your help

Another thing to think about is there are plenty of decent free rigs as well. Check here in the free rigs thread, or highend3d.com or strutyourreel.com. They are everywhere. Of course, if you'd rather pay than use something free and readily available, I don't think anybody will stand in your way.

Generi, Lowman, Norman, the old guy with glasses and that fat guy from strutyourreel aren't exactly well suited to any conceivable animation task :P He may have a good reason for needing a non-toony rig. But yes, there are lots of free rigs out there.

If you've had no luck on turbosquid, I'm sure a few individuals around here would be willing to share a model/rig with limited-use rights for $300 but I don't know how many people here who make rigged models hang out in the animation part of this forum.
