View Full Version : Adding Shaders to library?
onlooker 04-01-2003, 10:41 PM Ok, call me stupid from now on, but I can not get Downloaded shaders to show the image in the hyper-shade. They just have this Generic Maya icon. I have the shaders, and the sample image that go's with it, but what file-path do I use to put the shaders image in so it will display itself in the hyper-shade instead of that generic Maya icon that is standing in for the picture of the shader?
Somebody has to know this.:wavey:

Create a shader folder of yer own in shader library "shaders" folder. and then create a ".mayaSwatches" folder in the folder u just created, put the
swatch image files to that folder, and the shaders to the upper folder. The name should match..Then, U can use the shader from yer graph editor.
Correct me if i am wrong.:wavey: :p
