it might just be that this car has been done so many times that people have lost interest...looks good so far regardless...

For the first attempt its not bad at all.
There are a few things that are not smooth enough.
But give us a wireframe, I think it will be easier to critic if we see the wire too.
What was your modelling technique ?

ok, heres the unsmoothed wireframe. its done using polys. and i started with a box. the middle's not joined yet. thats why its a little bumpy.
kingcobra : oh, i didnt know this was a popular car.. damn, if i know i wouldnt have chose it.

maybe try converting to subDs and using crease for the hood to see what it looks like.

i think you need to add some more edges here and there to add some sharpness to your whole model. it kind of seems to blend together a bit too much right now, most noticeably in the headlight area.
unsmoothed wire looks good otherwise

I agree, there needs to be more edges added to your model where the sharp creases are supposed to be. Things are looking a little mushy. However, that being said, I'd also liek to comment that so far your poly layout is looking excellent, and this will probably be a top quality rig when you get her done. Look forward to more! Can you update with more smoothed renders?

holy shizniz.. well talk about improvement.
nice nice nice.. looking a LOT better. if you can i would try to make those creases (??) along the side of the hood a bit deeper since normally the parts would not be physically connected there... (hoping i make myself clear)
