well i not so sure...the cgtalk domain was unpingable...the dns just didnt resolve, it never even got to the site...

We we're backing up the site about 1/2 hr ago. We took it offline at that time. Sorry about that.

btw in vbb theres an option to close the board but leave a message, but i guess with a db this big then the server could get a little overloaded anyway :)

i suppose the dns/ping didnt happen because your host perhaps assigns ips internally
