I made two versions, but cant decide whether I want to keep the scoop or loose it.....
only 8 hours spend so far so it doesn't look that great yet..

The scoop looks great, but in my opinion (for what it's worth) when I see it i just think of a bulldozer with a cannon. Although, it is original. When people model tanks, they usually dont put the scoops on them. You should just put snow on the ground, then it would be finished :)

Yay, a tank with a scope!
I really can visualize this in a futuric future ;), where this thing is used by the police to "clean up" angry mobs and such...
You said you "only" spent 8 hours on this.. It will certainly be really nice after all the hours are in there... :)
Keep it up!

I don't know, man. Without the scoop it is just another tank.

Well, I'm just playing after all at the moment. I hope to make more modifications to it soon.

hey i like tanks!
not a bad effort, though sticking the renders on a white BG is a monumentally bad idea. put the tank on a grey plane, or better yet a syke
also a word on lighting: shadows are really important, the best model in the world will look pretty bland without decent lighting.
Usually you want 2 lights (key and fill) with NO ambient.
ok model: pretty good start. I like the little details, shovels and axes and chains and stuff. Most tanks also have big chunks of spare tread as well. The wheel/suspension setup is nice too, looks like it'd actually work.
be careful with your edges, nothing says CG more than crisp sharp edges, so add a little bevel into all the edges of all the panels.
bolts are good, especially for scale indication, you could probably make them a little smaller and the tank would look that much bigger. Remember that bolts go in places where something is attached to something else. If you've got 2 rows of bolts, it's a good indication that there should be a seam or some small gap in the plating there.
Keep on rollin'

**I know, its just an early beta preview

** Not done anything on the lights yet

**I hope it would work, not sure, but its mechanically solid design

**gone unleash some plugs on the bevels

**Thanks for the advice, need to make some adjustments still
