View Full Version : Free dummy models?
eric3dee 04-01-2003, 04:57 PM Ok. Maybe I'm just being too greedy, but is there somewhere on the net I can find some free (already rigged) generic dummy human models (like I could use for an animatic sequence?) I'd really like them to be already rigged-- to save me time. If so, please let me know where. Or if any of you are extrememly generous and have your own you'd like to share, please post. :hmm:

There is also IK Joe for Maya, but I can't seem to find the link.

cool, but how about a female counterpart model as well? Or any with more real world proportions? Like what I've seen so far. Thanx.

Check out this fantastic and inspiring (to me, anyway) animation:

Both characters are the same model, yet the personalities and genders are clearly expressed solely through the animation. Something similar could be pulled off with IK-Joe. Might be a little tougher with Paul's model though :)
