Hi All,

When trying to pick a target in my Morpher Mod, I get this error:

"Morpher...
...is the target of another morph object. Materials will be disabled."

Then max crashes. As far as I know, the target is not related to another morph object. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Odd, but I could load all morph targets by using the "Load Multiple Targets" button but not by picking individual targets. I would still like to hear your thoughts and experiences with the Morph Mod. Thanks

Never heard of this one before, but try deleting Morpher and collapsing the stack of both the object and the target (convert to Emesh and back again if you are using Epoly). That should fix it. Sounds to me like Max is having one of it's random fits.

Thanks Iain.

Odd indeed. Thanks for the suggestions, tried'em, still buggy, works so long as I don't use "Pick from Scene".

BTW love your jester character:)

This is indeed odd.

Curious: Did you copy your base object as references to make your targets?

Yes I did. Shift-dragged numerous copies. Didn't make any changes to the original either (made that mistake long ago). All is well now so hopefully the Gramlin has found more fertile fields.

Thanks

I apologize for the lack of clarity. I meant 'references' in the sense of copy/instance/reference. I don't suppose you selected to copy as reference when you shift-dragged out those clones?

Nope, just copies. Thanks
