View Full Version : My first attempt at a head

Ok, this is my first attempt making a head. i like the mapping, it just looks to fake. i'm also having a hard time making her look "attractive".Some of these questions seem pretty basic, but i'm triing to teach myself maya. triing to get her to that next step that makes you say "wow!". any help would be great. oh, and i'm using maya 4.

Great first start man! Keep it up and you'll be awesome. A couple of tips, pay close attention to profiles. Be sure and use your reference and study it. Smooth out the neck a bit, relax her mouth. But yeah, great first try. =)

Her eyebrows seem too big. Almost neanderthal like.
