There is a new feature on the GhostPainter 2 website - Photoshop Viewport. This allows to use Photoshop inside of 3ds max as a viewport. Watch the demo video !!!

I can't quite see what this would be useful for: Screen estate is small enough as it is, especially when working with hi-res textures and the like. Why anyone would want to cram two applications into one window is beyond me.
Is it really too much to just press Alt+Tab when switching apps...?
I think it makes sense for the combined Photoshop/3ds max features where you have to select a object first and then call the Photoshop plug-in (like "Unwrap to Path" on their website) or if you switch between 3d-painting and 2d-painting a lot.

looks like a very nice feature, i can't wait till it comes out...its on my to buy list..having both on the screen at once is awesome, no switching back and forth making sure you put the paint in the right spot

I think this looks really cool!
I hope "other" 3d software will add something like this or they port GhostPainter 2 to work with different 3d software.
