nice job....only 2 pictures showed up earlier. the tires just don't seem to fit the car.

yeah first time I looked at it, only the first image showed up.

The car paint needs work, as do the tires. Would be easier to crit if the jpg compression wasn't so horrid.

I definitly agree with the paint subject - go to the gallery and look up some nice vehicles - on several occations really nice advice has been given on acheiveing the fresnel/paint layer surfacing on cars! I'll assume the model is correct (ref is apparent!! ;))- it does seem a little long.

On the whole, it looks a bit sateratied, the highlights are a bit broad, and the glass looks kinda opaqua when veiwed head on (fresnel effect again) The crome seems bright and overly lit.

I'd definitely recomend either a dessert backround
(nice blue sky easy with ground +some small rocks) or a showroom, to give it somthing to reflect) well anything's better than a plane!

I think you need to turn self-shadowing on. The lack of self-shadowing is really noticable on the wheels and tire tread, and things like the exhaust pipes.

Like someone said before, leave the modeling where it's at for now and concentrate on the surfacing
e.g.

the tire rubber is way too hard and shiny - it doesn't look like rubber

The chrome on the wheels is also over-cooked but maybe self shadowing would calm that down

And the headlight and indicator cluster are pretty dulled.

But the model is looking good.

pretty much same comment I gave on the "McLaren concept" thread... the modeling is good, but the materials (and maybe the lighting...) could use some work.

look up some tutorials on car shaders and glass shaders, etc... there are TONS!!

Great work, keep it up!
Cheers,

I agree the materials need some work, but thats pretty excellent for a first 3d project. You should replace those renders with better quality JPG's tho, that would help alot. Keep going with it
