I think something could be done to help the character stand out from the background... like what was done to the flames. It's like the flames stand out and then I expect the character to continue the process and then it doesn't... it almost reverts and blends back into the background even though it in front of the red fire. I don’t know, maybe my suggestion would look worse. IMHO
