Hey everyone, im new here.

My name is Bartek Nowakowski, im 18, and ive been doing 3D for about 5 years now. Im not sure if this is the right place to post my animation. I did read the rules and it said something about posting animation links in the gallery so im like , hey, maybe i can show them here. :)

Here it is :

Short and simple, not bad.
But I think you have way too many fadeouts/black screens. seemed like 30-50% of the animation had a black screen. The morphs on the pinguin looked really strange, a lot of folders on a surface that should have been smooth.
Other than that pretty neat for a first timer.

Oh and you got plenty of time to finish the short, since we already passed march ;)

I thought it was okay, although it was a little annoying having 30 secs for titles and then not seeing any animation until after a minute had passed.
I was impressed with the sense of scale and the weather/environment, but as for the animation I think you need to go back and look at the jumps for the penguin. He is too floaty at the moment and I felt like he needed to be quicker and bouncier with stronger poses.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the final one though.
Cheers.

I would agree with the above comments. There is too much black and the credits are too extended.

However the set, igloo and environment looked good and were well lit and the animation of the character was good and looked like it was going somewhere when he started out on his sled.

The presentation just needs speeding up to appeal to the viewer I think

Thanks for all the feedback guys, its really helpful.
I know the trailer said march 20th, but im a little behind hey ;)

I'l get it done tho. By May for sure, because im going to submit it to the TeleToon Animation Scholarship Competition. Im hoping to win some money to help me when I goto the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC.

Thanks again for your input!
