My colleague and I need to record a video of us running around and holding BIG peices of card board which will later be replaced by our work... We also require to be able to substitue the background...

I will be wearing a fairly high saturated blue shirt, him a red. Both in black suites.

We were going to shoot it on a green screen, but how do I get over the cardboard problem? what color should they be? white? what would cause least problems, or what I need to track them invidiually as apposed to keying them out?

I would track them instead of trying to key them, then match the imported object to the tracks. As far as color pick the most contrast so the tracker can easily discern the corners.

i would put track markers on the cardboard to make it easier to track.

i wouldn't make them green ... the spill that will fall onto your body will create more work for you.

if you use white you may be able to pull a luma key

regardless anything you do will probably require a bunch of roto
