View Full Version : still: Nuclear Radio...
Breuer 04-01-2003, 12:23 AM This is a little futuristic device I made just for fun. I was thinking a nuclear bomb and a travel-radio. Use it how you like!!
Modelled and rendered in Lightwave. Hdri only for lighting.
I was hoping for a photoreal look (minus the concept). What do you think.Colour OK?
Tell me what you think!

I think, to make it look like a radio, if that's what you're going for, you should add and LCD display, where it would show the station and/or the countdown.
Right now, I don't see anything that makes it look like a radio, looks more like, as someone else said, a controller for a game system.

I can agree with the above speakers.
The first thing I thought of was a dog snack. However it's a very nice render ,and who knows what design will look like in the future ? Good work

looks good, but I have to agree that it dosn't look like a radio. But then again who knows what a nuclear powered radio would look like (or the poor person using it :surprised )
The DOF is a little strong, IMO.

It looks very realistic to me. But for me it looks like a roboter face or something else.

hehe , it seems that no one can really make their minds up about what this device actually is, and I knda feel the same. Its more of an abstract model but with a futuristic (50's retro) look. I'll see if I can post some more angles soon...
What you think of te colour?
