Title: Cuando los peces no miran
Name: Gabriel Chiang
Country: Chile
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

Hello from Chile. This Image was inspired in the moment when the bird dives into the water. Snapshot.
I used 3DS Max, Realflow and Vray for this image. Post-production in Photoshop. Hope you like it. Any comments and critiques are welcome.

gaiXyn is right, this pic could be more dynamic with light and colors!
But I must say your idea and concept is great... and I like your picture.
Very well done... Thumbs up!

Thank you all for your comments and critiques. :)

Toink, jtaddei: great! thank you so much. it is great that you like the concept. Hope to bring you all more digital art through the year... or years. From now on, I'll try to participate with more frequency.
blamejane: thanks!, the scared button is right there... find wally.
gaiXyn, Sylverwing: yes, it is true, making it brighter and more color could improve the final result and maybe I'll have to calibrate my laptop screen (any advice with that?). Thank you!.. (Sylverwing, nice demoreel! very clean and pro.)
annihma: jeje gracias.. si puh aqui estamos. Hace mucho que no posteaba por aca, es mas, primera vez que posteo un trabajo. Suerte en el concurso... ya tienes mi voto.

Hello, thanks. In this case I used Vray and the fog environment effect of Max... ,also, you can apply a filter or a layer (blend mode screen or normal) to the image or the video in an image or video editor with a gradient with low opacity imitating what does the fog environment of 3d max.

By the way... 3dbuzz.com have an old but still useful tutorial of an underwater scene in their VTMs.

Hope that this answer helps you, and good luck with your scene.
