If you don't frequent that other site (http://www.vfxtalk.com), and you're in this section of CGtalk, why not? :) VFXTalk is having a local free gathering of VFX artists on Sunday, September 9th, from 1pm-4pm, at the Santa Monica Library. Head over to this thread (http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/vfxtalk-vfx-user-group-meeting-t11437.html), rsvp (it's not necessary, but let's us know how many people to prepare for), and I hope to see you there! Here's your chance to ask questions and get good answers, straight from the mouths of industry veterans!

Thanks for coming all! We had an amazing turnout, 76 artists from all over the area, from Method, Zoic, Luma Pictures, Rhythm & Hues, Digital Domain, and those are the ones I just met! Please give us any feedback on it.
