Hi all, my first time over here, so don't mind few techink brb's, ok my question is that I'm modelling a complex head using four digi pix I took them to the real model, it is about a man with a big scar around his head (only eyes shown)-guerillas style-, so I did the modelling using surfaces in Mx 4,2, I was hoping to enhance the realisme of my model using the digi maps, OK so I start using many technix, but franckly I don't know,do max suffer some bugs about this methode???, my list of tries were:
-Blend Materials, using ID's, different UVW cords.
-Camera Mapping, I have a great feedback using this technique but simply does it work for many maps??
-Compsite Mat. not better than the others!!
-Composite Maps, no comment.
-Multi Sub Mat. give hard edges and I do use Alpha's.

What I'm trying here is to get some ideas about mapping using real footage shots in the same model, somehting similar to camera mapping, so Sorry guys about this lecture but I wanna have some feedback about the best (not fast) methode you do use.

It is about a personal project concerning -peace- so this may motivate you, I can post some examples but I would like to start from something here

Thanx

Try compositing your 4 maps to a single ma p in photoshop and then use an unwrap UVW modifier to line everything up.
That would be my preferred technique.

HI , thanx Jeron for your reply, I'm attaching some pix from the model and the digi maps I'm using, why not I can just simply project the four maps on the four sides of the model sing alpha's, well simply it doesn't work on max (so far according to my trials)

I will try your idea afterall, i know it would be esaier but I wanted an accurate model according to the photos.
