Hi,

For starters, visit PixelAlley (URL below my signature).

There you'll find many Painter tutorials, some for older Painter versions that (when you understand Painter a little better) can be used in the current Painter version, and many new tutorials written for Painter IX and Painter X.

Also, you'll find links to all of the issues of The Painter Canvas newsletter on two pages linked in the right column on the PixelAlley Home page (one for Painter IX issues from October 2004 through January 2007 and the other for Painter X issues from February 2007 through the latest published issue which, as I type this, is July 2007). All of these tutorials can be applied to Painter IX and Painter X, so be sure to check them as you have the time.

In The Painter Canvas newsletter issues, you'll find many good tips and tutorials that will help you as most of them are written so they're easy for a new Painter user to follow.

In the left column on the PixelAlley home page, you'll also find links to forums, newsgroups, and e-mail list I find to be the most useful ones (currently, as that can change over time and I'll update the list as needed). There, you'll also find links to pages on the Corel website and on the Corel FTP server.
Bookmark the PixelAlley site and stop by often as I add new material frequently.

Follow all of the links on the PixelAlley home page as I haven't mentioned everything that's available on the site.

Be sure to read all of the tutorials in the New Tutorials by Jinny section (link in the right column). Those are the newest additions and most are based on questions people ask in the forums.

Have fun!

Jin
