View Full Version : Set Driven Key
jcatlanta 08-22-2007, 02:57 PM Hello All. I just finished animating this little character, but I would like to tweak the way his eyelids blink a little bit. Since it is bound to the blink control, its hard to adjust it manually. I think I have to go within the set driven key and modify its main orientation, but I am not sure how to go about that. Anyone have any ideas? I am using maya x64. Thanks for your input everyone!

If it is the setDrivenKey driving the rotation of, say, a half sphere, you should have a 0-->1 (or whatever you set the attribute to) curve in the graphEditor for each rotation axis for the sphere. The height of the curve is where the setDrivenKey will end. By manipulating those curves' values you should be able to adjust how the eyelid rotates. If the setDrivenKey is acting differently than that, ie driving a blendShape or something, then this wont work, you'll have to edit what the setDrivenKey is manipulating.
hope that helps.
