Hello!, :)
I am looking for advice and some guidance on rigging this little red wagons handle.

My plan for this wagon is to have a character dragging it with their hands.
So my first thought was to do an IK handle for it. I locked the X & Z rotations on the first joint so the front wheels and axle will only rotate on the Y axis like a real wagon does. But my IK handle acted weird I think because of this.
When translated the IK handle in one direction the wagon handle would go the opposite direction instead of following the IK handle. Its very difficult to control.
Heres a simple animation showing that.

So now I am thinking....Is using an IK handle the wrong way to go about this completely? Should I just animate this wagon using FK frame by frame to make it look like the character is pulling it with their hands?
If anyone has some advice or ideas on what would be the best way to approach my problem, I would be so grateful. Thank you!
