Hello everyone, hows it going? I did some doodles to ideate what i thought was everyday strange behavior such as sugar rushes, keying cars, bubble baths, shaving legs, and dropping water balloons. I am going to take one idea and revolve them around a world of robots. =)

I thought I'd expand the space more to give it more breathing room and allow more playing to go on with the background.

To throw balloons off of buildings is one thing, to throw fruit is another. haha. anywho, I was just playing around with the chracters pose wondering if it should look more natural or really stiff and robotic. I was thinking that the robot should be more robotic and stiff along with the environment while the watermelon would contrast everything else by being curved. I really want to draw the eye with this really saturated bright juicy watermelon thats going to be dropped on some flying cars. any comments would be great. =)

I thought it would be nice to emphasize what the character was going to do with some friends=)

Thanks Fernando! anywho here is another post, I changed one of the character poses cuz i thought it worked with the action better. and its more strange for someone to be sitting on the ledge of such a tall building. o_O

Hey Thomas, i agree with you in the position change , nice  and what a city!!! great man!!
One of your characters is pointing to some target, perhaps you need to put a "flying car" on the pointing direction, (a yellow cab?? :D ), only a comment. :)

thanks for the comments guys, I think that this piece needs more orgnaic nature to balance out the tight structure. A friend also suggested I have him throw half a water melon rather than a slice. She is so smart! Anywho, its really loose now but I'll polish it up soon

Hi Yamaoka cool image. How about replacing two extra robots with two mischievous kids. The owner kid commands the robot (who should be used only for important tasks) to do pranks for him.

Just a thought. Have the robot look at the kid as if objecting yet still obeying by holding the water melon above his head. the kid stomps his feet and commands to toss while pointing at the ground. The other kid is doing his own prank he's spitting on people heads. He's stretching out from a ledge and letting the loogi hang down arm length.
Good luck.

I flipped the compostion because i think it reads better left to right this way. anywhoooo. Thanks everyone for you comments. I think I am cloooose to being finished with a few polishing up and more tight knit details, and texturing. I also decided to restrain myself with the whole organic stuff and keep it strictly robots with the watermelon as the only organic object. anywho hope you like it and any feedback is always great =)

I don think I was submitting my milestones correctly. anywho all right this is my last one before i submit the final image. Any feedback would seriously help cuz at this stage im running into walls =)

In an utopian future where conformity rules society, robots yearn for a way to express their uniqueness and individuality. Spark, Chip, and Micro decide it would be cool to drop a watermelon from the tallest building in the city on the nicest car they can find. "Uh Oh!"

Congrats on getting a great scene together! I love the immensity of the city you have made and would like to see the end result of what happens when that watermelon hits!

Well done.
