tinitus 08-21-2007, 07:02 PM I was wondering whether there is a way to displace my basemesh in zBrush with a texture I painted in Photoshop..just for the very start??!!

I'm curious about this too...could make for some interesting clothing
textures if the UVs were done right.

There sure is. What you want to do is go to Tool->Masking-> Mask by INT. That will mask by the intensity of what texture you have selected. Color isn't calculated just how light or dark it is on the image. This is a really good way to get pore on skin.
After you have it masked you can got to TOOL->DEFORMERS-> INFLATE to get a nice over all texture going.
