itīs my first post here at cgtalk :)
iīm a 3d artist, but i want to learn 2d.
this is my first rendering in 2d. it is still work in progress, it needīs refinement and a Bad Ass Weapon :)
hope you like it, feel free to critic.

hi, a small update, got the minigun, but it still needs more detail.. fixed some bugs in the ears and tail.
lets see if tomorrow I finnished it off :)

You might consider giving the mouse a human eye brow so that the face can express an emotion of some sort. At the moment, the face is dead. I can't tell if the mouse is mean, sad, scared, or happy. It's just there. Unless that is the feeling that you were trying to show. If that's the case, I recommend placing something in the picture that is reacting to the mouse.

the flattened reflection looks weird...
the expression feels a bit psychotic to me...

fixed the mouseīs face expression, weapon prespective and did the minigunīs magazine.
must just make a decent backdrop and I think itīs ready :P

i think this is looking great! What I would do though is make the reflection crisp closest to the mouse and THEN blur out. That will help the effect a lot more I believe. Bkg is great! :)
