Hi,
you can't change the order of rotation in CINEMA

Thanks Srek.
What, then, is the default order of rotation in Cinema, and is the ability to change it something that is likely to be implemented in a future version?
(I hope so.)

The rotation order is simply which axis cinema uses first, second and third to get say a forearm bone from one pose to another.
ie:
x first, then y, then z, or
z,y,x, or
y,x,z, etc...
(Depending on the order in which something is rotated it can end up in a completely different position. Try, for example, rotating a bone 90 degrees on the x-axis, then 90 degrees on the y. Then reset it, and try rotating the bone 90 degreees in the y-axis and then the x.)
The reason that it is important is that being able to set rotation orders, it is possible to lessen the chance of gimbal lock in an FK setup.
If you want a better explanation, you download a pdf from here: (look in the setup section).

Hi,
CINEMA does not use a specific rotation order. Since we only use HPB roation for animation this problem does not occur. You can only rebuild the problem by doing this rotations one after the other by hand as decribed in the previous posting.
