thanks for your advice. I'll do it tomorrow at work.
I like it... but there is something crypy about him, I think is because doesnt have eye balls, please try to use blanks (spheres without texture same color as model ) for the next update ...
...Kamul what the best way to soft an edge ??? :airguitar

Two suggestions: Pull the eye socket up and back a little. He's looking a little bug-eyed. This will also give him a more prominent brow line, a common feature amongst elderly men. Also, the head looks a little high. You could afford to chop a good inch off the top of that melon. Other than that its looking good. I especially like the mouth area, its modelled really well.

thanks you were helpfull! I've reduced the head, pushed the eyes a bit backward, added eyeballs and also soften a bit the cheeks...
What do you think now?

When I think of wise old men, I usually think of the old Chinese sages or Mr.Miyagi from the Karate Kid films! You have picked what could be a difficult subject if you want to have a sagely look about his whole face - that being said, you've started well. I like the many wrinkles that you have.
Crits - maybe try lowering the brow ridge a bit, he looks like he might be in shock. I would try turning the corners of the mouth down a bit too - he looks like he's got a knowing smile on his face. Then again, the Dalai Lama is a wise old bloke and he giggles away like nobody's business. Its really up to you.

The eyeballs are too visible. It looks like he's staring, and that his eyes are almost falling out. All the wrinkles are very well done. And the smile makes him look like he knows something that you and me would never understand. The white eyeballs makes him look like he's blind. I like that idea. :)

i like the idea of him beeing blind, it's really interesting; but don't forget that he's not textured yet. So that's why he has basic white eyeballs. I'll begin the uv setup process once the modelling is finished.
