Incredible work. The texturing is amazing. The box on the left doesn't seem to be the same standard as the rest of it though in my opinion.
Great foliage work too.

Brilliant rendering. Looks almost like it's on a slight fish eye lens though, like it's a photograph, very good

What's impressing me the most is simply looking at the wireframe and realizing how much was done with texturing. I makes me want to get right on improving my own texturing abilities. Outstanding.

Holy geez that is crazy realistic.
The one thing I see that could make it look even better would be to have a light source (from either inside or outside) to shine through the doors transom.

This picture works. Its unassuming, well implemented and detailed. A door or object can be as interesting as a character.

Reeaally nice work! Can't find anything to critisize here! I like how the wall is curving, suggesting it is some kind of round building (edit: or is it some kind of fisheye lens trick?)... It's an interesting image, and it's very well executed.

Hi,
Wow- this work is a definition of 'fine tuning'.
This attention to balancing (in light , modelling and materials) can really be more impressive than big 'hardcore' works.
Also , it shows great use of real world references (travel photos are the best ones!)
I'm curious, how did you texture? in a 2d package or painting directly ?
Great stuff.

great work Aleks,
I have a question for you, I would like to know how you render your wireframe preview.
I like the way it looks, GI included. Could you please explian the steps you take to generate a nice wireframe image like yours?
thank you in advance

Hello, I am a student and I was just wondering if there is a secret to gettng good displacement. I have tried numerous things and I can never get the displacement right. I have tried increasing geometry to better match a displacement, but it ends up overloading my machine with well over 1 million polys. If I go too low, then the displacement ends up looking either like crinkled paper, or like a low res mesh with bad displacement. I was just wondering if there is a tutorial out there for a good use of displacement, or maybe some hints or secrets to using it properly. Anyway, great image and I love the little details. The lighting is spot on!

This is an incredible piece, is there any way we could get some more information regarding the textures? Did you photograph them yourself? Just combined dozens of sets from what you found online?
Great work.
