View Full Version : Why does Maya create a tmp folder instead of using the project settings?
JayHoo 08-20-2007, 11:43 AM hi,
my rendered images are stored now in a folder called "tmp" instead of being stored in the related render layer folder. Does somebody know they Maya behaves like this?

Hi
you have to give it a file name prefix in the common render settings.

Unfortunately this doesn't help. I had used a file prefix name all the time but suddenly Maya saved the files in this special tmp folder.

Hi
Maya creates tmp folder when you do a render in the render view. Only you have to save it properly. If you do a batch render then it will save in the given folder.
