Hi there, good start with the line art. I think it is a good clean style. However some suggestions on the coloring would be to work the whole body at once. paint all of the sections before trying to detail any of the spots. Also, I see that you are trying to think of your like direction which is good. I think the shadow is to thick between the arm and the shirt. The legs look more 3d then the rest of the body which makes them look like they turn the wrong direction. I think that the biggest thing to do is make sure you keep with a consistent style. It might look cool to have a very realistically painted cartoonish character, but you might also think of a more cartoon like style of painting. I'm just throwing out options, so take what you want, but its a good start!.
