Genesis 03-31-2003, 05:37 AM Hey I am pretty new to maya and was wondering if there were any free downloadable GI lighting/rendering plugins? and if there are, if they can render animations without the dreaded gi flicker?

Cool thanks guys, I should have realized mental ray would have it :p
gi flicker happens in max all the time. stills look cool, but shadows often flicker when scenes are animated due to the way they are calculated.
thanx again

Search highend3d.com. There are atleast a dozen different scripts for faking GI with light on there, plus 3-5 plugins.
