I am looking to invest in a Mid-Range workstation (2x processor). The systems I am looking into are the 3D Boxx, Dell Prescision, and HP X4000. All of them have dual processors (Intel, except for Boxx which has AMD). All three have pro vid cards and run Win XP Pro. My question is basically if anyone has used any of these systems or is currently using them, how are they working out? Any probs running Max/Maya, is it a good value, is there sufficient tech support, etc... Also, any input on the Intel vs. AMD issue would be helpful. Which processor is more stable, faster, etc... (btw the systems have either a Xeon or MP 2000). Any advice would be appreciated.
