I love animals. The kingfisher is one of my favorite birds, though I have never seen one in the nature.

I used Photoshop to color my pencilsketch. I wanted to try out something new, I usually color my art in Painter but this time I only used Photoshop.

wow! this is terrific! the feathers look so real as do the eye, beak and branch. i love everything about this little bird. we have a lot of kingfishes here where i live and every evening one perches in the top of the tree in front of my house...scanning the lake. beautiful birds, i love seeing them. 5 stars from me. :thumbsup:

Very beautiful painting of a beautiful creature, you gave him lots of character to go with his jewel-like colors.

Excellent Work! Funny, I have a piece called king fischer too, not about the bird though.
