i know splinepatch, but its not comparabe to powernurbs. powernurbs has alot more tools and the weakness of c4d`s snaping-tools is another story......

I tried to have a look at this awesome Max plugin, but the page kept on loading...

So I don't know what it does, what it costs. But if you don't have Max, and do have Cinema, you have indeed splinepatch, and then there's also

http://www.ralf-sesseler.de/d3d/

splines plus.
with a demo and a downloadable manual.
and not that expensive at all.

Yet these are not real nurbs (in Cinema).

all we can do is send emails or phone calls to maxon and npower and get them to support it. Sadly there is not a meeting of the minds that is agreeable to both sides yet.

If you're interested in a low cost ($195) NURBS solution there's always Moment of Inspiration (http://www.moi3d.com/) (MOI)

MOI is the reason I bought into Cinema 4D; C4D was the best out of Lightwave, Modo and XSI at importing MOI objects.

If you haven't tried it, I suggest you download the free beta and give it a gander...
