Hello all,
This is my latest compositng reel. http://www.wesleyhancock.com It was all done in Shake, with 3D in Maya. Lots of other apps used for effects etc. Please give feedback as to what you like and what I can improve on. I am working on transitioning to Nuke right now so any tips would be great too for a Shake to Nuke switch.

Thanks all,
Wes

Not bad dude. I think the first piece with the waterfall was the best, very well done. The New York shot the lighting on the flying cars looked just a bit off, they didnt match quite as well as the other elements. I think the weakest element was the beach ball in the beach shot. The animation on the ball was not quite natural enough and the lighting was too diffuse. The ball needed a little reflection or specularity around the edges to help it look more like rubbery plastic. Overall though its pretty good stuff. Always fun to see Comp reels.

Thanks for the critique. The beach ball shot was only really meant to show camera tracking so I didn't spend too much time on actual color correction etc. Thanks for the critique, and I will definitely go into the city shot and look at those car colors again.
