Project: Building a car by starting the other way around - with the details instead of the actual body.

Usually the smaller details are done at the end & so they don't always get the same attention as the stuff you start out with. It's also a nice exercise to learn to pay much more attention to detail than to the basic shape of stuff.

And: it should basically be possible to build a car from seperate parts, no matter from what car they are. So who knows what the end result will look like :D

Anyway, it'll be a long and winding road, but like the Chinese saying goes "Even a thousand mile journey starts with a first step" :D

First things first....or in this case 'last things first'. I just did a texture based on an exsisting license plate (had a look at some collector sites) and this will be the first of a few different plates.

Any suggestions on improving this are very welcome! I can see some parts that aren't realistically damaged (like the '8' of the 1918, and the damage on the big '9').
