View Full Version : Creating a Scroll effect
Enigmawriter 08-17-2007, 04:30 AM Hello, everyone. Just wanted to know if it's possible to create a scroll with after effects. I wanted to have a scroll appear on the upper left corner of the screen then the paper scroll down from the roller revealing some information.
How would I do that? Thank you for reading. Looking for to your advice.

I 3D Layer Warp does what you want:

You can do a pretty nice fake of a page roll without 3rd party plugins with this:

Thank you, yikesmikes for the helpful information. I will look into that.
Is there a link on how he created the page roll? Or a tutorial? I was thinking
of videotaping a real scroll in front of a greenscreen and then manipulating it
in Avid Xpress Editor.
I am working on a cooking show and I came up with the idea of a scroll which
contains the recipe.
Thanks again.

Great, it downloaded. I'm editing a cooking show for a company who
wants to start a healthy cooking show aimed for kids.
