Finally plunging in now, so very late...
These are the stars of the painting I'm thinking of doing. Just trying to work out some ideas.
She's Balloon Girl with her Balloon Pet.

Oh man, I just want to finish this now.
More work to set the scene. It'll be a corn field, maybe a barbwire fence somewhere. Must finish.

very moody...and great choice of colors...one small detail bothers me, the angle of his hand...seems a tad twisting toward the viewer, revealing the thumb side a bit unaturaly to me...
love the way you treated the grass...there's watercolor feel to it.

Refined the mood mostly, also his hand. I want some sense of tension from it, and I hope the position is good now.
Clouds are a bit confusing I think, so I'll have to work that out.
I also notice a barbed wire fence would be hidden by the corn stalks...something else maybe.
Any advice?

the mood of your picture is great, face and the colors are awesome
maybe some more scarecrows in the background or at least a part of a fence showing up from the field where also a more detailed crow could sit
