Hi guys.Im in. But abit late.Also i have a time consuming idea to work on .So i wish to finish it on time.
Idea: Two enemy groups (contaning Orcs , monsters,creatures .etc) are fighting to each other trough a computer game in a battle field.

I think its a cool idea, but maybe if you think the game that they are playing is important, maybe find an angle where you can see the screen, which could maybe stand to be larger. Otherwise we have no idea that they are essentially playing a game that could be reality for them and their enemies. They could just be playing pong.

Ferx >> about the idea.Unfortunately i didnt see that when i was starting my threat(although i checked many pages to see if there are any or not?) But fortunately there are some differences between them. His idea is to make popular game characters play the games .
But mine is about a seriuce battle field which instead of fighting with swords and such things are fighting through a comuter game...
I want to know your ideas about the similarity of mine and that one and see if i have to change it or not.

HI Ali, You are right, the both concepts are based on a video game but with different behaviors :D I really like your concept, I think for the composition, perhaps, the two armies confronted ( with two monitors, front to front ) I belive that be nice to see the two full armies encouraging to their "video warriors" :) Again good luck!!

It is a real pity, that our renders will very much look alike. The ideas are basically the same, both showcase monsters (not game characters) playing PS. I'm not going to argue here who had the idea first, but since we seem to be doing it, it won't be very original now. Perhaps I could ask you to think it over, and use something else?

to tell you the truth i didnt know there is already a thread similar to my idea and about the originality i think it is still original as long as i have made my sketch with out seeing your idea.and i will try my hard to not be similar to yours.
I just asked in FAQ thread and left the decesion to challenge leaders.

i know that his idea is original and realy a great one.
csdani: i realy appreciate your idea too and i think this is only a accident! so maybe help you to grow up your idea more and more.

I have to agree with Ferx's first post, because the two illustrations do resemble each other in terms of theme. I'd rethink the scene, cause sticking to this (otherwise pretty good) composition might ruin the originality of the piece. I mean we've already seen an entry with monsters in a room playing a video game...why don't you make them do something else, that's just as fun...like orcs eating out in a REALLY elegant restaurant, or playing golf in white suits, etc, but you probably know what I mean...

i quite like this one. i think it would be good if the orcs were doing something quite smart/interlectual. but they r in too deep and are crashing and burning. .. one should have a monacicle and smoke a pipe ;)
