Mr Fudge 03-30-2003, 06:33 PM How do I do this???
Thanks,

find initial position -> set key
move on forward in time
move to desired position -> set key
hit play!

Must I be in component mode? Where do I, "Find initial Position"?
I have looked everywhere but cannot find a way to set keyframes on individual vertices.
If I am in component mode I can set keys on the CV's postition in the channel box. But if I do that and play the animation back it seems to behave in a very unpredictable manner.
Also how would you go about setting keyframes on lattice points.
Please explain in the most basic terms as I am stumped.
Thanks again,
K

OK, I can fix the animation in the Graph Editor but surely this can't be the right way.
Let me know...

OK, I have got the lattice pionts working properly. But Vertices are still missbehaiving themselves. :(

well, i really don't see where your problem is?
for me it works like this:
1. switch to component-mode (F9)
2. select vertex
3. set key
-> press 's' or select the channels you want to animate in the
channel-box then right click -> key selected
4. go to a different frame e.g. frame 60
5. move the vertex of choice to a new position
6. repeat step 3.
good luck!
