Title: Moutain Wreckage
Name: Jerry Cai
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop

a wallpaper i did for myself. spent more than 12 - 18 hrs... many edits. Started as a pose of a girl viewed from the back with western elements and somehow turn itself into something ancient chinese feel blended with western long dress... with an almost great wall-like building in the background.. enjoy.

please do tell me where the image can be improved..as my eyes are tired from it.

Hi,
I liked lightning and half dark half light idea for the scene!

It has a feeling of distinction, have some De Chirico atmosphere (which bring some uneasy feeling to me)

What confuses me are few thing in composition: red ribbon, at least for my eyes, is painful and does not fit... also, a rock above her head could be placed elswere, this way it draws too mush attention. Great wall is too much on the edge of the picture, and mountains are a bit repetative.

thank you waheednasir. thesquid, npantic, moonclub. it is an honour to get some stars up here!
and npantic, thanks for the crit. I added the ribbons just to have some sense of motion.. i dunno why i used red. i tried to keep it dim, i have no idea its hurting ur eyes O_o haha. as for the concrete block above her head is mainly used to provide a contrast to her brightly lit hair, bringing out some space. one of my friends also pointed out this :)... as for the moutains and structures i can only say im not really experienced in drawing them haha, i just let the pen take over freely.
thanks for the crit again! :)
