hey everyone! im trying to get particles to always look at a selected object - not necesarily the camera that is rendering it. and im using custom objects as my particles, so the shape facing operator isn't going to work for me.
if possible only rotating in the z-axis would be best, but if not, it shouldn't matter since i could probably just make it look at an object linked to the original target which only moves on an xy plane.
im thinking the only way to do this might be with a simple script, but im not sure how this would work.
using the find object test was a possiblity i thought, but i cant have them rotate without them also having velocity, they need to be still.
any help would be really great!
