View Full Version : Clone for ferris wheel

Hi I hope one of you have an easier solution for this problem.

I'm making some kind of ferris wheel, now i made the top car in it and i want to clone it so it is placed correctly in the wheel.
But if i do a radial clone on Pitch all cars have different angles because the clone is around the center of the wheel. I could rotate all cars to be horizontally like they should, but can i automate this?

i hope this is clear, and that anyone can help me out, I don't feel like doing it manually.

You could try cloning it based on points, say with PointClonePLus.
Create a circle with the correct amount of cart-points.
Kill the polygon and then clone.

Should work, at least in my head here.

This pretty much does the trick, too bad it centers the cars on the points, but i can solve that by moving the points a bit down.
