i must say dat's awful she looks like a monster!
maybe u should avoid using so much dodge and burn tool it looks like u abused her with black charcoal.

u might wanna consider looking at some tuts before another attempt? her proportion isn't too bad but her facial features need a lot more work, colours and so on...
yeah so check some tuts listed on this forum.

ACK its pretty dodgy and burny

generally i would recommend avoiding using those and stick with darker/lightter shades at low opacity for shadows/highlights

You should start off laying out the flat base colors before doing any shading.

Start with the skin on the bottom layer then create new layers for the skin, then a new layer for clothes, then another for shadows and spec above the corresponding layers.
This gives you the most control over the picture
