Title: The last stand
Name: Marcus Edström
Country: Sweden
Software: Photoshop

Hi all!

This piece is one that has taken me forever.... I started out with only a vague concept of a crusader backed up against a tree and lots of fighting going on around him... I have tried so many different poses, props, character, colors that i am amazed that this picture ever got finished.

I hope you like it. All feedback, good or bad, is greatly appreciated..

What a scene. The expressions/clothing designs are spot on. I think the image's overall contrast could be upped a bit. Right now, it seems kind of 'washed out'/grey.

Thx for letting me know, Yurien... I have tried to calibrate my monitor, but i am still very unsure about it. I've noticed before that pics made on this computer looks very pale on other.... Also, due to the way i paint the colors often become very "unpure". I try to improve on that issue.

I see. I have some monitor calibration issues myself, and I'm still not sure if I've corrected it or not. From what I've read here and there, most monitors are set brightest as possible at default. After I did that and corrected my images, it seemed to show up better on other computer monitors as well as when I printed some of my pics out.

I know that's probably not the right way to do it. :D I hope it helps out a little though! :)
