View Full Version : Environment: ST:TMP Bridge

I decided to resurrect an old project I started last year, but kinda threw on the wayside. This is something I'm going to work on very part time over the next few months and thought I'd post some intermediate wip pics here at CGTalk. Some folks will groan, but I'm an old trekkie fan (of the original crew movies) and started working on a model of the bridge of the Enterprise as seen in the very first movie, The Motion Picture. Most folks prefer the set from the second movie (Wrath of Kahn) because it had more details in it. I mgith revamp this one to be like it, but for now I wanted to go with something less widely known.

So far I'm, just installing all of the major stations. Got a long ways to go, esopecially with the details. Anyways, here's a few shots looking all the way around the set

It looks nice. Do you have any plans for it?

Not really, its mainly just for fun and cause I'm a fan :) I'm trying to keep a few other projects as a higher priority than this.

I'm in Corvallis btw

i like the modeling - who cares if it's star trek?? don't make any apologies.. i would like to see it with materials, and some lighting, tho.
